The city general hospital's child psychiatry department for infancy through adolescence (new outpatients are mostly ages 2-15): eating disorders, anxiety, mood conditions, ASD and ADHD. As an acute-care hospital it gives priority to elementary and junior-high students whose eating disorder or anxiety may need inpatient care, and asks children who can be treated elsewhere or need long-term follow-up to see a local doctor. Its inpatient care works with an in-hospital school and also takes elementary and junior-high students who can't go to school or have withdrawn into hikikomori.
